Calling this meat cleaver the “Bone Chopper” is definitely appropriate. It’s very heavy but well balanced, it’s extremely sharp from the manufacturer, it feels super comfortable in my medium sized hands, meat doesn’t stick to it due to the aggressive texturing, and aside from all that, it’ll cut a bone like it’s room temperature butter. I think I could set a new world record for the fastest time to completely cleave up a freshly slaughtered cow with this “Bone Chopper.”However, I did deduct one star from my rating because of the sharp edges of steel not lining up well with the wood on the handle. The handle should be machined better to avoid any steel edges exposed to the touch which creates a little discomfort on my hand. For the price of this cleaver, the handle should be perfect.
