The knives aren't very sharp even though they are brand new. Yes, they cut better than my old knives but a butter knife could do that. These knives already need to be re-sharpened so that's the first disappointment. The second disappointment is that there is no weight to these knives. I expect a steak knife to have some heft to it and these definitely don't. If you're considering these knives, I recommend looking elsewhere.
