This is a well made HAND MADE knife. Mine has slight ripples in the blade which is characteristic of a hand made blade. Especially one of this size. I really like it. I've got several bowies and at least 4 of approximately this size and this one is my new favorite. If your looking for a machine made not hammer forged blade because a few ripples bothers you then don't buy this. But, if your looking for a genuine hand made monster blade then this one and this company is for you. I once told my brother when he contemplated buying a motor cycle for transportation. If you don't care what you ride and are just looking for good gas mileage then don't buy a Harley. But, if you really like the quality of a Harley then don't settle for less or you'll never be happy with your purchase. Hand made is never perfect but it has a distinct character all it's own. It's not a PRINT OR EXACT copy of the one that just came off the assembly line before it. Nice knife guys.
