The handle area is a bit small. I'd say I have average sized hands, and if they were any bigger that might become a problem. Mostly because of the finger grooves. The steel seems nice. The Damascus pattern is beautiful. Though in the pack of three they are remarkably similar. So, I do wonder if it's really Damascus. Time will tell. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase.
