Ordered as a 5 year anniversary gift (wood). It's beautiful and to be honest a sexy ass knife. Incredibly sharp. I do wish the leather case was better quality. The box it comes in is a really good box.I've had this knife for a little while.. So far I'm pleased. It's done it's job at a fast pace sushi restaurant.I bought the 10 inch sashimi knife out of curiosity, as the finish on these knives does look particularly attractive. They are great looking knives indeed, and I do like the hammered kurouchi finish coupled with the Damascus pattern. The knives are claimed to be made out of VG10 steel. VG10 is a good quality stainless steel which is only available in Japan. These are made in China, so definitely of another lower end type of steel. At £130, which I paid for the Yousunlong, we are starting to enter serious knives territory. I own a santoku, gyuto and aogami in blue steel #2 forged by Shigeki Tanaka, which were all purchased around this price tag.The Yousunlong is nowhere near this quality. I admit it does look good, but that's pretty much what you pay for: looks. Other than that, it is nothing to compare with similar priced blades from renowned Japanese blacksmiths. You may enjoy this knife if you never owned a decent quality kitchen knife over the £30 mark, but the Yousunlong is way overpriced for what it is, in my humble opinion.easy to handle, easy to use, comfortable for the hand, great for cutting
