This was a gift for my grandson, who is only one dive away from being a Dive Master. Scuba gear is usually pretty expensive, but it frequently needs replacing due to loss or ocean salt water exposure. I asked his folks about getting a dive knife as a gift for graduation; they said he can always use a dive knife. So I got busy and did my homework on dive knives, and decided this one qualified for him as a graduation gift from Cal University in December. I think he was mildly surprised that I had researched this enough to know anything about the best qualities of a dive knife. He loved it and said, " You did great grandma. I wanted the blunt tip, with a line cutter, and saw edge...and it's titanium! .Thank you grandma!" So, I would recommend this dive knife until I hear differently. This is a beautiful titanium dive knife. I love how you can quickly disassemble the knife for cleaning without the need of any tools. It came razor sharp and ready to shred an unlucky fish looking for an easy meal or a rouge fishing net looking to keep me below the water line.I own the stainless steel blunt tip version of this knife. After a dive, I forgot to wipe it down and it rusted in a few spots on the blade and under the grip. Bummer.I love this knife and get a rush of testosterone every time I slap it on my lower leg. I've done nine dives with it and it worked great getting a lionfish to line up for my video shoot. It also helped coax a toadfish out from under the pipe on a wreck that he was hiding under. This is just a great knife, super-high tech, and easy maintenance. Taking it into the GOM again next week.PROs: Fast shipping; product arrived fast. Knowing this brand, it is of good quality as advertised.CONs: Knife shipped did not have yellow accents as seen in picture, which was party why bought, to ease in search and find in case it got lost. Instead, product will be harder to find if lost...Final Notes: Product rated 5 stars because of brand, quality of manufacturing, not for who sold it. I would give the seller 4 out of 5 because of misleading picture (wrong color) of product...This knife is super lightweight. Plastic and Titanium. Somewhat "Cheap" feel but it is light.. Quick release buckles are hard to use. Quick release clumsy but works with practice.Over-expensive. Too much money for the knife, it looks kind of cheap and it's a pain to take it out from the sheathVery lightweight but not very easy to get out of the sheath. In a panic I could see that being a issueGreat product. If you need a knife and you will be in salt water, but this.Light and sharp. All you would expect from a knife like this.Great knife, very sharp.
