My spirit guides told me to buy this set even with the high price-point, and I am not sorry. It is so compact, and the wood grain on the handles is beautiful. It definitely displays European craftsmanship.Looks and fancy and works very well.They need a little sharpening when they came in. The block was dented a bit though that's not their fault. Not sure if it is a manufacturer problem on the knife or not. I was able to thinly slice tomatoes and cucumbers paper thin. Everything seems stable. Good set of knives. Love them so far.This set of knives is very nice!! The knife block is nice, and the cutting board is nice as well.Steak knives are sharp but other knives are lackingKnifes are well crafted.The product was nice and well built. but they didn't disclose that its, Damascus engraved, and not real Damascus. But all in all, its ok. But if you're looking for the real deal, its not with these knives.
