Knife is basic, very comfortable in hand, functions greatI purchased a Ridge aluminum wallet(which is great as well) from their website and wanted the carbon handle version of this knife - just couldn't justify paying 160$ for it though. Since the Titanium version was only 100$ on Amazon and a coupon was offered for 20% off I jumped on it. Glad I did.PROS:No blade wiggleSolid constructionSimple design/color - looks great and love the gun metal and dark blade. Matches my wallet as well.Fairly light weight - Description says 5 oz but it's only 3.8 oz. Light for the slabs of Titanium for the handle.Sharp - Quality D2 steel blade.Size - Picture make this knife look bigger than it is and makes the handle look bulky. It's not, perfect size and fits nicely in my hand and pocket.Engravable - Titanium is hard to engrave but since I had my wallet(aluminum) done I asked about my knife. I was able to have my initials put on the edge of the Titanium handle. Looks awesome!CONS:Price - I know quality blade are expensive and this is a quality blade but the140$ it costs on Ridge's website is off putting. Its worth the 100$ imo but I wouldn't have found that out if it wasn't for the 20% off coupon. Can be hard to open - Definitely won't flip open easily but since it's always in my pocket Its probably good it won't open by mistake.Has a 2 year warranty also - don't know if this is a pro or con since the wallets have a lifetime warranty.OVERALL:I do love the Ridge Summit Knife as my EDC. It looks great and is a well built, solid little pocket knife. I would recommend it!I've started to get into the fad of EDC (Every Day Carry) and wanted a decent knife to have on me. They sent the wrong color 1st time but I finally got the gun metal and it looks really good and it's a solid, handsome knife. Even so, I love my CRKT brand M16 folder better but I Live in New Jersey where even carrying a simple pocket knife could get you in trouble. So the lower profile Ridge is probably the safer bet. Got in on sale for $80 but still feels pricey for what you get.Nice knife, very sharp. Time will tell how long it’ll hold that edge. I probably would not have ordered it if I had known that it was made in China. I searched the website trying to find out where it was made to no avail. The manufacturer purposely hid that fact. It’s everything I expected it to be, and even more comfortable in hand than you think just looking at picks. Feels very solid and well put together. Very happy with the sturdiness and look, and very happy with the value at the $80 I paid for it.One minor issue. The nub to push the blade out is fairly abrasive, it cut my hand up a little bit. I switched it to a pocket that I use less to avoid the problem. The clip is also extremely tight, easy to adjust. This knife is very sturdy and durable. The blade locks right in place with no wiggle at all. It is sleek and discreet and built really well. I am impressed and glad with the purchase.i noticed that the original screw tool does not work on these screws. so i have to keep both tools for the future.
